This is the high version of the Italian collar and is very elegant. It is not recommended to those who have a slightly shorter neck.

The Italian cutaway collar is used for shirts which are more often used for business and worn with a tie. As it tends to lose a bit of shape when worn open it is recommended to be used with a suit and tie, where is frees the tie somewhat and allows it to stand out more.
