Sliver Stud Buttons

These shirt studs are designed for use with dress shirts, to be worn beneath a dinner jacket, to be worn with or without a bib. They allow the first four buttons beneath the collar to be done up for a smart, sophisticated and formal result. Shirts designed for use with studs feature four buttonholes instead of the first four buttons in the placket. Studs are then inserted into these button holes, in the same way as cufflinks into a double-cuffed sleeve. For greater flexibility, we nevertheless add four concealed, stitched buttons alongside the buttonholes to allow you to button the shirt normally if required. These buttons can easily be removed where necessary.
