Blue White Seersucker Suit

6-button double-breasted suit in seersucker cotton with white and blue stripes. Traditional construction, shoulders with soft shoulder pads, straight flap side pockets, 2 back vents, half lined inside. Pants with buckle & strap, one inside pleat, no turn-up hem.

Seersucker comes from India, literally milk and sugar "shir-o-shakar" in Persian. An illustration of the difference in texture between the 2 stripes, the characteristic embossed look. While this relief lends elegance and charm to the fabric, it also has an appreciable virtue: it brings freshness and lightness to this fabric.
