Choosing your buttons

Swann offers four different types of buttons: standard buttons, block buttons (less wide, but thicker), horn button and pearl buttons.

Pearl buttons are the Rolls-Royce of buttons, the most sophisticated with the finest quality, made from genuine mother-of-pearl that stands out with a pretty, reflective finish.

The horn button has a style particularly suitable for casual and casual shirts such as denim shirts, brushed cotton shirts, tartan or cotton / wool shirts.

Block buttons give the shirt a more modern look but, due to its thickness, it can be more fragile – due to its thickness, it’s easy to do up but there is more tension on the thread.

The standard button is made from imitation mother of pearl that is slightly thicker than the genuine mother-of-pearl button.

You can choose the colour (except for mother-of-pearl buttons, which are only available in their natural, white colour).

We also provide the option of choosing a button-hole in a different colour, which is a good way to customise your shirt in a discreet way.
